The Tulsa Drillers entered Friday's game with Corpus Christi on a four game winning streak. Halfway through the game, they looked to be on their way to win number five in a row, up 4-1.
But the Hooks exploded for eight runs over the last 4.5 innings to win 9-4.
The big inning came in the top of the fifth, where Corpus scored five runs on four hits to take a two run lead, 6-4. It was a lead they'd never relinquish.
Tulsa's Brian Rike had the hot bat for the Drillers, knocking in four runs on the night. Three of the RBI's came on his three-run homer to right field in the bottom of the second inning.
These two teams close out their series tomorrow night from ONEOK Field. First pitch is set for 7:05pm.
