Drillers Break Out, Win Series vs. Corpus Christi

The Tulsa Drillers got on the board early and often Saturday night, beating the Corpus Christi Hooks 17-5.

Tulsa used a six-run second inning to break the game open, followed by three runs in the third and another six in the fourth.

As you would imagine, the box score is loaded with big numbers for the Drillers. The top three in the batting order - Tim Wheeler, Thomas Field, and Ben Paulsen - combined for nine RBI's.

Tulsa stays in Green Country for one more three game series, which begins Sunday at 7:05 as the South Division-leading San Antonio Missions pay a visit to ONEOK Field.
