Three University of Tulsa players have been named to the first-team Conference USA Preseason list, released by the league Wednesday.
Senior receiver Damaris Johnson is a first-teamer and is also first-team punt returner and Special Teams Player of the Year. Also on offense, senior offensive lineman Clint Anderson was chosen.
On the defense, sophomore Marco Nelson is chosen at defensive back.
The preseason Offensive Player of the Year is Houston quarterback Case Keenum. Marshall defensive end Vinny Curry is tabbed as the preseason Defensive Player of the Year.
Tulsa begins the 2011-12 season September third at Oklahoma.
