The Tulsa Drillers blow a 9-7 ninth Inning lead Wednesday night to lose 10-9 in Midland. The RockHounds score three in the bottom of the ninth to get the victory.
This was the first game of a six-game road trip.
Tulsa rallied from a 7-3 deficit to lead heading into the ninth. Thomas Field highlighted the rally with a two-run homer. His 17th home run of the season.
The same two teams play again Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
The Drillers drop to 21-24. Tulsa falls into a three way tie for second in the North Division of the Texas league with Arkansas and Springfield. All three teams trail the Northwest Arkansas Naturals by two games in the second half standings.
