Tulsa Offensive Tackle Matt Romine grew up in Tulsa.

He won a state championship with Bill Blankenship at Union.

He then went on to play at Notre Dame, but his time in South Bend was anything but golden.

He had a bout with mono, broke his leg and suffered a dislocated ankle.

He's reunited with his ole high school coach one last time and feels thankful to have this second chance at the University of Tulsa.
