Tulsa Project Theatre Finds A Home

More renaissance in Downtown Tulsa.

Part of the Convention Center will now be used for theatrical productions.

Announced this morning, Tulsa Project Theatre will now call Assembly Hall home.

The space enables them to productions they might not be able to do otherwise.

It will also give the group a permanent place to perform.

Founder, Todd Cunningham says, "And also have a place that people can get used to coming to. And our audience can grow and can know that, when they are coming to see one of your productions, they're basically coming home. So they will actually feel very comfortable coming to our shows."

And you could say, the place is returning to it's roots.

It was built back in 1964 specifically for theatrical productions.

But over the years, was converted into a banquet hall.
