Posted: Updated:

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say a 43-year-old Inola woman died in a crash on US 412 in Rogers County.

An accident report states Melissa Black was driving a 1995 Ford F250 northbound on NS 416 when she pulled out in front of a car going eastbound on US 412.

That vehicle was a 2004 Honda Civic driven by Nathan Hollis, 23, from Bartlesville. He was treated and released from St. Francis.

Troopers say Black was ejected about 8 feet when her truck hit Hollis' in the left fender.

Black was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seat belt. Her airbags did not deploy.
