It looks like the Tulsa Golden Hurricane will be without Damaris Johnson when they travel to Norman this Saturday to face the top-ranked Sooners.

TU Coach Bill Blankenship said Monday in his weekly press conference that nothing has changed since last week.

Damaris is still suspended.

Friday his girlfriend was arrested for alleged embezzlement.

He hasn't been charge, but police have questioned him about his involvement.

When asked If Damaris hasn't been arrested, why suspend him.

Coach Blankenship said because of what they know, he didn't live up to the standards of the program.

He also said that the team is moving on as if a player was hurt.  Someone else has to step up to the challenge.

Tulsa and Oklahoma kickoff the season Saturday, September the 3rd at 7pm.
