Rogers County Sheriff Deputies arrested two men after a manhunt.
It started when deputies responded to a fuel theft from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT). Workers told them the suspects were two men, one driving a red Dodge pickup truck and another on a four-wheeler.
Deputy Phillips followed tracks into some woods and found an idling one ton dually with a gooseneck trailer that were reported stolen.
Sheriff Walton found the pickup at the Talala grocery store. He arrested Andrew Dresher who was listening to a police scanner.
Dresher gave investigators his cell phone, which had text messages to his partner, Jeremy Moore, telling him where police were searching.
Investigators then texted Moore when he led them to a barn in Nowata County where he was hiding out.
Moore then tried to run on foot, but was taken into custody.
The four-wheeler was found in the barn along with $40,000 of stolen equipment.
Moore is in the Nowata County Jail and Dresher is being held in Rogers County.
Both are thought to be involved in several thefts in those counties.
