Posted: Updated:

For the third time its the first four games, Tulsa faced a top 10 opponent Saturday night.  The Golden Hurricane traveled to the blue turf of #4 Boise State.

The Broncos used a four-touchdown performance by star QB Kellen Moore, and 75 yards and a touchdown from RB Doug Martin to trounce TU 41-21.

QB G.J. Kinne made a surprise start for the Golden Hurricane, after injuring his left knee against Oklahoma State last Saturday.

But Kinne couldn't overcome the Broncos defense, as he finished 14/24 for 123 yards, one touchdown, and four interceptions.

Trey Watts was the leading rusher for Tulsa, carrying the ball 15 times for 60 yards and TU's first score of the game late in the third quarter.

The early-season gauntlet is now over for the Golden Hurricane, who return to H.A. Chapman Stadium on Saturday to host C-USA foe North Texas.

Kickoff is set for 6PM.
