Bill Blankenship and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane will face the Mean Green of North Texas this Saturday. But as mean as that might sound, it's tame compared to what they went through over the month of September.
TU faced #1 Oklahoma (3-0), #5 Oklahoma State (4-0) and #4 Boise State (3-0). All three are top-five teams and Tulsa lost to all three.
It's something that doesn't sit well with the Golden Hurricane. Coach Blankenship says he expected to win at least two of those games and felt like they had a good enough game plan to win them all.
