You could have heard a pin drop at Monday after coach Bill Blankenship said he expected his team to win one, if not two from #1 Oklahoma, #4 Boise State or #5 Oklahoma State.
He said that during his weekly press conference.
The Golden Hurricane were able get a win in September, but not against one of the big three.
The odds on that actually have happening would have been pretty long. But Coach Blankenship never said he thought it was going to be easy. He thought they had a game plan for each game that could have won the games had Tulsa played very well.
