Oklahoma receiver Ryan Broyles followed up a record-setting performance Saturday by being named the Big 12 Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Broyles caught 13 passes for a school-record 217 yards and a pair of touchdowns as the Sooners defeated Kansas 47-17 Saturday in Lawrence, Kansas.
The senior from Norman also established a pair of other marks -- most career receptions in NCAA history (326) and most touchdown catches in Big 12 Conference history (44).
In all, Broyles had 301 yards of total offense. In addition to his receiving yards, he had 84 yards in punt returns.
Broyles and the Sooners are 6-and-0 overall and 3-0 in the Big 12 heading into Saturday's home contest against Texas Tech (4-2, 1-2 Big 12 Conference). Saturday's game can be seen at 7 p.m. on Tulsa's Channel 8.
