It's the return of Mike Stoops to Norman. Well, sort of.
A report in USA Today says Mike Stoops, the brother of OU head coach Bob Stoops, will be in attendance Saturday when the Sooners take on Texas Tech in Norman.
It comes less than two weeks after Mike Stoops was fired as head coach at Arizona following a 1-and-5 start.
Mike was the defensive coordinator under his brother at OU from 1999 to 2003 before taking the gig in Tucson.
Oklahoma is 6-and-0 and ranked third in the initial BCS standings. Texas Tech is 4-and-2, having lost its last two games against top 25 teams Texas A&M and Kansas State.
Saturday's game can be seen at 7 p.m. on Tulsa's Channel 8.
