Former Sooner Clapp Returns To Lions Practice Squad

Detroit, MI -

Former University of Oklahoma fullback Matt Clapp has been added to the practice squad for the Detroit Lions, the team announced Thursday.

It's the second time Clapp has been with the Lions. He was cut September third when teams had to trim their rosters. He initially signed with the team as an undrafted free agent following the 2010 NFL Draft.

At OU, Clapp played in 37 games for the Sooners, scoring three touchdowns during his junior campaign in 2008. He was used mostly as a blocking back and had just one carry for one yard as a senior in 12 games.
