After the 9th-ranked Sooners practice Monday in Norman, Head Coach Bob Stoops announced that sophomore tight end Austin Haywood has decided to leave the team.

He plans to transfer after the semester.

Haywood missed the Texas Tech game with an injury, but he played in the Sooners other six games this season.

He was listed third on the depth chart behind James Hanna and Trent Ratterree.
