The Sooners starting running back Dominique Whaley has had a tough couple of weeks. He missed the Texas Tech game with the flu and then he broke his left ankle on the very first play of the game against Kansas State.
But things are looking up.
He's expected to make a full recovery and could be back in time for spring practice.
But the best news is Coach Bob Stoops is going to put him on scholarship starting next semester.
