
Lon Kruger's "exhibition" debut as the University of Oklahoma's new head basketball coach was a successful one Tuesday night at the Lloyd Noble Center.
The Sooners beat the Northeastern State RiverHawks, 85-51.
OU had six players score in double figures led by Cameron Clark with 18. Tyler Neal and Calvin Newell both had 12 points. Andrew Fitzgerald, Romero Osby and Sam Grooms all had 10.
The RiverHawks were lead by forward Jon Miller with 17.
The Sooners get back on the court Sunday afternoon against Washburn at 2:00pm.
Kruger is beginning his 26th season has a head basketball coach.
