Former OU Head Football Coach Barry Switzer was in Tulsa Wednesday.

He was telling some good stories at the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association Wildcatter Luncheon at the Tulsa Country Club.

This Saturday the University of Oklahoma will unveil his statue just east of the Switzer Center by the Bud Wilkinson House.

Coach Switzer says he's honored by his statue, but says it's a tribute to everyone of his former players and coaches.  Without them there would not be a Barry Switzer statue.
