Baylor Gets First Win Against Oklahoma

Robert Griffin the Third and the Baylor Bears get their first-ever win over the Oklahoma Sooners Saturday night.  The Bears beat the Sooners 45-38.

The Sooners rallied from a 14 points down to tie Baylor with :51 left in the game.  It appeared that Baylor was going to run the clock out and go to overtime.  The Bears ran the ball and Bob Stoops called a timeout.  Then Baylor went 76-yards in four plays to win.  RG3 hits Terrance Williams from 34 yards out for the game winner.

Back up quarterback Blake Bell had four touchdowns for Oklahoma.  All were out of the Bell-Dozer formation.  He scored on runs of 3 yards, 1 yard, 4 yards and six yards.

Landry Jones passed for 447 yards on 36-of-51 passing.  He through one interception and scored no touchdowns.

Jaz Reynolds was Landry's favorite target with Ryan Broyles out for the season.  He caught 7 passes for 114 yards.

Roy Finch led the Sooners in the ground game.  He carried the ball 17 times for 95 yards.

Robert Griffin racked up 551 total yards for Baylor.  He threw for four touchdown passes against the Sooners.

The Sooners drop to 8-2 for the season and 5-2 in Big 12 play.  Oklahoma returns home next Saturday for Senior Day against Iowa State.  OU and the Cyclones kickoff at 11:00am.
