
Lindsey Keller and Toni Young each scored 13 points to help lead the Oklahoma State women's basketball team to a 69-36 victory over Alcorn State Tuesday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
The Cowgirls (3-0) shook off a slow start, scoring eleven straight points to lead 15-to-5 on Taylor Schipper's 3-pointer. By halftime, the lead had grown to 38-19.
Alcorn State would get no closer as OSU scored the first seven points of the second half.
The Cowgirls forced 24 turnovers and limited the Lady Braves to just 26-point-4 percent shooting, including just 2-of-18 (11%) from three-point range.
Tiffany Bias scored nine points and had a team-leading six assists and Kendra Suttles scored eight points and led the Cowgirls with ten rebounds.
Tierro Frost led Alcorn State (0-5) with 15 points.
Oklahoma State will play its first road game of the season Sunday, traveling to Bloomington, Indiana for an 11 a.m. tip-off against Indiana.
