There is chatter going on that when Oklahoma State takes the field Saturday, they could have a look that hasn't been seen yet.
There has been no confirmation out of Stillwater on the chosen look for Saturday's big game, but there are reports out there that a helmet that was thought to have been left out of the Cowboys' uniform combinations could make an appearance.
We're talking about the all orange helmet with the giant "Pistol Pete" logo on the side. A picture circulated on the Internet earlier this summer when the possible uniform combinations were talked about.
But, when Oklahoma State unveiled it's official uniform combinations prior to the season, the helmet was not among them.
We won't know for sure until the Cowboys take the field for the much-anticipated 2011 version of Bedlam against rival Oklahoma. The Cowboys are a three and a half point favorite.
Saturday's game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff in Stillwater and can be seen on Tulsa's Channel 8.
