Okung Suffers "Significant" Injury In Seahawks' Win

Seattle, WA -

Former Oklahoma State offensive lineman Russell Okung is expected to miss time and could miss the rest of the season after suffering an injury in Seattle's 31-14 victory over Philadelphia Thursday night.

Okung was hurt in the final minutes of the victory when he was thrown down by Eagles defensive end Trent Cole. It's an injury to his pectoral muscle, but Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll says the team is still awaiting additional test results.

Carroll called the incident "really late" "really out of line".

Okung is in his second season and is Seattle's starting left tackle. He was picked by the Seahawks with the sixth overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft after a standout career at Oklahoma State.
