Austin, TX -

A Texas high school wide receiver who committed to Oklahoma State has decided on a different kind of orange.

According to the Austin American-Statesman, Kendall Sanders gave his pledge to the Texas Longhorns Friday, a week after UT head coach Mack Brown offered the wideout a scholarship.

"I'm 100 percent committed," Sanders told the publication.

Sanders is a four-star prospect according to Rivals and Scout.com and is ranked by Scout as the 22nd-best wide receiver talent in the 2012 class.

As a senior at Athens High, he had 818 yards and five touchdowns rushing, 530 yards and five touchdowns receiving and also had three interceptions on defense.

According to Scout.com, Sanders also has offers from eight other schools, including Arkansas, Baylor, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.

Verbal commitments are non-binding. The first day high school athletes can sign letters of intent is February first.
