Harris Poll Won't Be Released Until BCS Rankings Are

Oklahoma State fans are just going to have to wait.

A reporter for Sports Illustrated says the Harris Poll -- one of three pieces of the BCS Rankings -- won't be released until the final BCS Rankings are announced this evening.

Stewart Mandel made the announcement on his Twitter account.

Earlier in the day, OSU moved up two spots to third in the coaches poll, but remained 32 points behind Alabama.

It's expected that Oklahoma State would need to pass Alabama in the Harris Poll to move into second in the BCS standings.

The coaches poll and Harris Poll are combined with a combination of six computer polls to make up the BCS rankings.

One thing is for sure -- it's going to be close.

Oklahoma State is already assured of its first BCS bowl game. The question is will it be the Fiesta or the national championship?

The final rankings will be announced on ESPN beginning at 7:15 p.m.
