Oklahoma had six players named to the All-Big 12 Conference first team, which was announced by the league Wednesday.
The Sooners had three players on both offense and defense.
Fullback Trey Millard, wide receiver Ryan Broyles and offensive lineman Gabe Ikard made the first team, as did defensive linemen Frank Alexander and Ronnell Lewis and defensive back Jamell Fleming.
Alexander was named Defensive Lineman of the Year and was also co-Defensive Player of the Year.
Four other Sooner players were named to the second team -- wide reciever Kenny Stills and tight end James Hanna on offense and linebacker Travis Lewis and defensive back Demontre Hurst at defensive back.
Oklahoma finished the regular season 9-and-3 and will play in the Insight Bowl against Iowa on December 30th in Tempe, Arizona.
