Second Half Rally Lifts Cowboys Past Missouri State

Oklahoma State rallied from a 12-point second half deficit to defeat Missouri State, 72-67 Wednesday night in Springfield, Missouri.

The Cowboys (6-2) trailed 42-30 after a 3-pointer by the Bears' Jarmar Gulley less than three minutes into the second half.

But, OSU put together a 17-5 run to tie the game on Le'Bryan Nash's jumper five minutes later and took the lead when Keiton Page buried a 3-pointer with 11:12 remaining.

The game remained a back and forth contest until a pair of free throws by Jean-Paul Olukemi with 1:39 put Oklahoma State on top for good.

The Cowboys hit four of six free throws down the stretch to seal the victory. Nash led the way with 19 points and eight rebounds while Olukemi added 13 points and nine boards.

Also in double digits for the Pokes was Page with 15 points and Michael Cobbins with ten.

Missouri State (4-3) was paced by Kyle Weems, who score 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Oklahoma State heads back to New York City for Saturday's game against 15th-ranked Pittsburgh at Madison Square Garden.

The Cowboys played at Madison Square Garden last month in the Dick's Sporting Goods NIT Season Tip-Off.
