Sooners Snap Skid In Sunday Blowout

NORMAN, Okla. -- OU women's basketball stopped the bleeding Sunday with a 72-50 win over Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

The win ends a rare 3-game losing skid for the Sooners. The last time the Oklahoma women's team lost 3 consecutive games was in 2008.

Junior guard Whitney Hand completed a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds; both were game-high's.

The Sooners will travel to Las Vegas to play in the "Battle In The Desert" tournament beginning next Sunday against Ohio University.
