According to a report in the Daily Oklahoman, when Oklahoma State takes on Stanford in the Fiesta Bowl, it could be a battle for more than just BCS bragging rights.
According to the report, Heritage Hall head football coach Andy Bogert says Barry J. Sanders, the son of the former Oklahoma State and NFL great, has narrowed his field of possible college choices to Stanford and Oklahoma State.
Sanders rushed for more than 13-hundred yards and 27 touchdowns this season for the Chargers, who lost in the Class 3A semifinals a year after winning the state title.
Most of those stats came in the first half of games with Heritage Hall's back-ups doing mop-up duty in the second halves.
According to Rivals.com, Sanders has offers from at least 15 schools and had listed four -- Alabama, Florida State, Oklahoma State and Stanford -- as his favorites.
