Former University of Oklahoma running back Spencer Tillman is one of three players who will be inducted into the Orange Bowl Hall of Fame this year.
Tillman participated in three Orange Bowls for the Sooners, including the 1985 loss to Washington, the 1986 victory over Penn State that gave the Sooners the national championship and the 1987 blowout of Arkansas.
Tillman's best game came against the Razorbacks when he carried the ball just seven times for 109 yards, including a 77-yard touchdown run.
He was named the Orange Bowl's Most Outstanding Player for the big effort.
In all, Tillman rushed for 168 yards in his three Orange Bowl appearances, ninth best in the history of the classic.
Tillman went on to play in the NFL with the Houston Oilers and San Francisco 49ers. He's now a college football analyst for CBS Sports.
The others being inducted this year are former Clemson head coach Danny Ford and former University of Miami wide receiver Michael Irvin.
