Oklahoma City -

A late rally fell just short as Oklahoma State fell to 6-and-4 with a 10-point loss to New Mexico in the All-College Classic Saturday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

The Cowboys trailed 36-26 at halftime and by as many as 13 early in the second half before going on an 18-6 run to pull within a single point, 47-46 on Jean-Paul Olukemi's 3-pointer with 11:26 left to play.

The Pokes finally pulled ahead four minutes later when Olukemi drained another trey for a 53-52 advantage. But, the Lobos scored the next six points and OSU never got closer than three from there on out.

In the first half, Oklahoma State led 19-13 at the midway point before a 23-6 outburst by New Mexico pushed the Lobos to a double digit lead.

The Cowboys shot just 32-point-7 percent from the field and were out-rebounded 44-39. The Pokes also committed 15 turnovers while forcing only eight.

Keiton Page led the way for OSU, scoring 18 points. Olukemi added 16.

New Mexico (8-2) was led by Kendall Williams' 16 point-effort, but the biggest performance came by Drew Gordon, who had 13 points and a game-high 20 rebounds. He also blocked two shots.

Oklahoma State will return to the court Wednesday night at 21st-ranked Alabama.
