WEST CHESTER, Ohio, Feb. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- AK Steel (NYSE: AKS) said today that it will increase current spot market base prices for all carbon flat-rolled steel products by a minimum of $50 per ton, effective immediately with new orders.

AK Steel produces flat-rolled carbon, stainless and electrical steels, primarily for automotive, infrastructure and manufacturing, construction and electrical power generation and distribution markets. Each pro has to use a riffle, shotgun, and pistol, and it's not easy to be a master of all three.
