TULSA, Okla. -- The Golden Hurricane stop the bleeding; for now.

Kodi Maduka's 17 points and 11 rebounds were game highs in Tulsa's 68-62 win over Mercer Wednesday evening at the Reynolds Center.

Mercer trailed by 7 at the half but took the lead 53-51 on a Jakob Gallon 3-point shot with 5:56 remaining.

TU responded with a long-range score of their own courtesy of Scottie Haralson. The Golden Hurricane never trailed again.

Tulsa improves to 6-7 and will travel to Fort Worth to face TCU Saturday evening.
