Then again in the first overtime, tied at 58, Markel Brown heaved up a final shot from just past half court which banged off the backboard, expectedly.
Finally the Cowboys came through in double overtime, outscoring Southern Methodist 10-0 to clinch a 68-58 win.
Cesar Guerrero accounted for the first seven of those final 10 points.
Keiton Page was 7 of 16 from the floor and led all scoring with 27 points. His most critical were the final 6 in the first overtime to tie the game at 58.
Oklahoma State snaps a 3-game losing skid while improving to 7-5. The Cowboys will host Virginia Tech on Saturday before opening conference play January 4th against Texas Tech.
