
CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Bearcats point guard Cashmere Wright scored a layup with just 8.9 seconds remaining. It ultimately was the game's final points and the winning score in Cincinnati's 56-55 victory over Oklahoma.
It is only the second time this year the Sooners have been in the loss column, dropping to 9-2 on the season.
Both teams were abysmal shooting from the floor. Oklahoma shot 23 of 60 (38%) and Cincinnati was even worse at 17 of 61 (27%.)
Alexander scored 11 of his team-high 18 points in the first half.
