SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Stanford's Andrew Luck and Brandon
Weeden of Oklahoma State passed up chances at the NFL for another
season in college.
Their decisions are two big reasons there's so much hype
building for the Fiesta Bowl.
The quarterbacks became friends while attending the Manning
Passing Academy the last two summers and are expected to roll up
the yards and points in Monday night's game at University of
Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.
Luck is a two-time Heisman Trophy runner-up and likely No. 1
overall pick in next year's NFL draft.
Weeden doesn't have the draft cache of Luck, but has become a
prolific passer and mature leader after spending five years playing
professional baseball.
