TU Women Win Conference USA Opener

TULSA -- TU women's basketball opens play in Conference USA with a convincing 68-57 win over Southern Miss Thursday at the Reynolds Center.

Loren McDaniel's "double-double" performance (12 points, 10 rebounds) led the Golden Hurricane. She was one of three Tulsa players to finish in double figure scoring.

TU is now 1-0 in C-USA and 6-6 overall. Their next game is Sunday, January 8th at Marshall.
