ORU Women Overcome Slow Start

TULSA, Okla. -- Oral Roberts earned a 71-65 conference win over South Dakota State Saturday.

The Golden Eagles trailed by double digits for most of the first half, but a late ORU run cut the lead to 29-27 at the break.

Three ORU players finished in double figure scoring. Jordan Pyle led with a team high 17 points followed by Georgia Jones and Kevi Luper with 15.

Oral Roberts is now 9-6 overall and 3-1 in the Summit League.
