NORMAN, Okla. -- What began as potentially one of the worst conference starts in over four decades for Oklahoma men's basketball is now looking far less bleak.
Steven Pledger's game-high 17 points led Oklahoma to a 64-55 win over Texas Tech Tuesday. This was OU's first game since stunning #18 Kansas State last weekend.
After dropping their first three conference games, Oklahoma is back to within a game of .500 at 3-2 and improves to 12-5 overall.
Romero Osby scored 15 points while Cameron Clark came off the bench to score 10.
The Sooners will resume league play Saturday at Texas A&M.
The game will air live on Tulsa's Channel 8 at 3:00 PM.
