Done Deal: Brent Venables Is Heading To Clemson

It's official: Brent Venables is leaving the Sooners to become the Defensive Coordinator at Clemson.  Venables told head coach Bob Stoops the news late Thursday night.

Venables was OU's Defensive Coordinator last season, but when Coach Bob Stoops hired his brother Mike, Venables was named Co-Defensive Coordinator.

Media members in Clemson are expecting a press conference to be held on Friday.
