Posted: Updated:

Four Tulsa players scored in double digits to lead the Golden Hurricane to a 77-48 win over Houston on Thursday night at Hofheinz Pavilion in Houston, Texas.  TU moved to 8-8 on the season and 3-2 in Conference USA.

Tulsa picked up its first road win since topping Southern Miss on January 16th last year.

Couisnard tallied a career-high 20 points and added 13 rebounds for her fourth career double-double, while adding a team-best three blocks and four steals.

Taylor Hooker recorded 15 points and a game-high five steals, followed by Taleya Mayberry with 13 points, and a team-leading five assists and three steals.  Chanice Scott finished with 11 points.

With her 13 points, Mayberry has 943 career points, moving into ninth place on the school's all-time scoring chart.  She needs just 57 more points to become just the eighth player in school history to score more than 1,000 career points.

Tulsa will return to action on Sunday, January 22nd against Tulane.  Game time is set for 2:00 pm at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
