A special ceremony was held at a Tulsa retirement center.

Nearly a dozen people got together to celebrate living a long and full life.

The event was called the "Mighty 90's."

The event took place was held Friday afternoon at the Broadmoor Retirement Community Center.

11 residents are being honored for turning 90 or beyond this year.

Owen Brown and Mildred Kellenberger were named king and queen for being the oldest living at the center.

They're both 97 years old.

We asked their secrets.

Brown told us there is no secret and Kellenberger says it's all about hard work.

"I always worked in the yard...and flowers and mowed and all that sort of stuff until I was 95 and had to give it up," says Kellenberger.

All tables were decorated with candles, special place cards, and flowers.

Inspirational speaker and singer, Margaret Carson from Angelic Home Health, entertained and motivated the audience.
