Kevi Luper became the fourth player in Oral Roberts University women's basketball history to score 2,000 career points as the Golden Eagles defeated Oakland University, 62-53, on Saturday at the Mabee Center.
With the win, ORU improves to 12-7 (6-2 Summit League).
Luper is also the fourth player in Summit League history to cross the 2,000 point threshold. She led all players with 19 points in the game.
ORU has now won five straight regular season games over Oakland.
The Golden Eagles continue their home stand on Monday, Jan. 23, when they host IPFW. Tip time at the Mabee Center is scheduled for 7:05 PM CT.
