TU Women Fall At Home To Tulane

Taleya Mayberry scored a team-high 22 points for Tulsa, but it wasn't enough as the Golden Hurricane dropped a 66-51 decision to Tulane on Sunday afternoon at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.  

The Golden Hurricane fell to 8-9 on the season and 3-3 in Conference USA, while the Green Wave moved to 14-5 overall and 3-3 in the league.

Loren McDaniel added eight points and a career-high 15 rebounds, while Taylor Hooker also had eight points.  Mayberry and Hooker had two steals each, and Mayberry had four assists.

Tulane was led by Jamie Kaplan who netted 11 points off the bench, while Brett Benzio and Olivia Grayson each had 10 points.  Benzio had nine rebounds, while Tyria Snow had eight assists and Janique Kautsky had four steals.

Tulsa will return to action on Thursday, January 26th against UAB.  Game time is set for 7:00 pm at the Reynolds Center.
