A Muldrow man accused of killing his parents is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Thursday.

Fifty-year-old Kevin Statham was arrested in North Dakota in July, just days after his parents, 70-year-old Paul and 69-year-old Helen Statham, were found shot to death inside their home in Bokoshe.

Bokoshe is located in northern LeFlore County, about 90 miles south-southeast of Tulsa.

A neighbor found the victims on July sixth and called police. Investigators believe the shootings took place either a day or two before the bodies were found.

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation say when Statham was arrested, his parents' 1993 Chevy pickup truck, his mother's purse and a shotgun, thought to have been stolen from the home, were recovered.

Statham fought extradition back to Oklahoma, but was finally brought back to LeFlore County in October.
