Fire Chars Land Near Berryhill

A grass fire near Berryhill sends smoke rolling across west Tulsa Friday.

Crews began fighting the blaze in the woods near 3800 S 48th West Avenue around 2:30 p.m., on property behind The Silo Bed and Breakfast.

The hilly, wooded terrain created a bit of a challenge at first, but crews fought back with the help of ATVs.

Firefighters brought the blaze under control by 3:30 p.m.

There have been no reports of damage to property or injuries.
