Suspect In Fatal Owasso Hit And Run Turns Self In

The suspect in a fatal hit and run near Owasso has turned himself in.

Owasso Police tell KTUL.com Jedediah Perkey took the opportunity offered by investigators Friday afternoon. He surrendered in the parking lot of his employer.

Perkey is accused of hitting and killing 39-year-old Darrell Abadie on January 15th. Abadie was walking along the road near 126th St. North and Garnett Ave.

Perkey will be held in the Tulsa County Jail under complaints of leaving the scene of a fatality hit and run.

Darrell Abadie was a found dead in the ditch by a motorist. A fundraiser to help his family and children is being held this Sunday at the Jack of Clubs Bar in Collinsville.
