Students Learn About Year Of The Dragon

Students at a metro elementary school are celebrating the year of the dragon.

Kids at Jenks East Elementary are learning more about the Chinese culture and language.

Fifth and sixth graders in the Sino-Trojan Academy put on a program Saturday as part of their project.

In the Chinese calendar, 2012 is the year of the dragon. Students took part in traditional dances and even performed with a colorful dragon puppet.

The Chinese New Year began this past Monday.
