Tulsa Firefighter, Creator of Huffy The Clown To Be Honored

The man behind Tulsa's Huffy the Clown is being honored Saturday.

Assistant Fire Marshall Tom Hufford will receive the Jim Close humanitarian
Award tonight from the The Southwest Tulsa Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber's dinner begins at 6:00 o'clock at The Silo Center on west 41st St.

The Chamber says it's awarding Hufford for his community service of educating children about fire safety.

He has been with TFD for 24 years and has played the roll of Huffy for most of that time, presenting magic shows, safety shows, and party entertainment to big crowds every year.

The Southwest Tulsa Chamber of Commerce will also honor other members of the community, including:
