Boat, Sport & Travel Show Underway

  The 56th Annual Boat, Sport & Travel Show is underway at the QuikTrip Center.

  With 445,000 square feet of exhibit space, the show ranks as the nation's fifth largest according to the Consumer Travel Agency.

  There is a special preview night on Monday from 5:00 to 9:00.  Preview tickets are $20 each.  Discount coupons worth $7 off are available at participating dealers.

  For the rest of the week the hours are Noon to 8:00 PM Tuesday through Friday.  Saturday, 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  There are several special attractions scheduled during the week.  That includes performances from the Smage Brothers who were recently featured on NBC's "America's Got Talent."  Trapper Joe and Trigger Tommy from History Channel's "Swamp People" will hold several meet and greets.  There is also a wing eating contest, family fun splash zone and dogs and cats from the Humane Society available for adoption.

  Regular admission is $10 for adults.  Children under 12 are free.
